The Phosphenes create imperfect three-minute pop songs from a standard dysfunctional rock line-up that - replete with catchy hooks and upbeat rhythms, armed with poignant and quirky humour, and dripping in vocal harmonies – stick in your head and rewire your brain. Lightkeepers Trio are the ‘unplugged’ compact version of the newly formed Melbourne (Naarm) 5-piece band Lightkeepers, blending folk storytelling with indie rock dynamics, amplifying the stories of our times and our changing world.
