How's this for a band...the Rock Royalty Revue are: Freddy Strauks (Skyhooks) on drums & vocals Eric McCusker (Mondo Rock) on guitar & vocals Pip Joyce (Glen Shorrock Band) on guitar & vocals Paul Gadsby (Men At Work) on bass & vocals Johnny Grant (Farnham Band) on keys & vocals Rebecca Barnard's life is awash with Australian musical history & success. Her dad Len & her uncle Bob were esteemed jazz greats. Her own band 'Rebecca's Empire' gave her the reputation of "The Singer's Singer", alongside her incredible album collaberations with Australian artists such as Stephen Cummings, Paul Kelly, Renee Geyer, The Meanies, TISM, The Audreys, You Am I, and The Black Sorrows. Wilbur Wilde is one of Australia's most successful musicians, and undoubtedly one of Australia's best ever sax players, cutting his teeth with the original OL'55, and then joining Jo Jo Zep & The Falcons from its incarnation. Wilbur has shared the stage with artists such as Dire Straits, Roy Orbison & Elvis Costello (just to name a few)...which all sits alongside his incredible contribution to Australian television as the frontman for the Hey Hey Its Saturday band. Rebecca & Wilbur are backed by a lineup of oz rock royalty, including a very rare appearance by Eric McCusker (Mondo Rock), who has written some of Australia's biggest songs, including six top ten hits. This show is a two hour celebration of Australian music history, with a setlist taking in the songs of the artists and bands that have forged the careers of everyone on the stage.
