ALIENS 40th Anniversary Double Feature (+ ALIEN)

In celebration of "Alien Day" and the 40th anniversary of James Cameron’s sci-fi masterpiece, we will be screening a double feature of ALIENS (1986) and Ridley Scott's original that kickstarted this iconic franchise: ALIEN (1979). Both in remastered 4K, and ALIENS will be the "Special Edition" with several scenes not included in the original theatrical release and generally considered the superior cut. ALIEN – 4pm (1h 57m) When a space merchant vessel receives an unknown transmission, its landing on the source moon finds one of the crew attacked by a mysterious life-form, and they soon realize that its life cycle has merely begun. ALIENS "Special Edition" – 7pm (2h 30m) After surviving her disastrous ordeal, Ripley’s escape vessel is recovered after drifting across the galaxy. However, nobody believes her story about the “Aliens” on the planet LV-426. After the Company orders the colony on LV-426 to investigate, however, all communication is lost.
